To promote reading, Blessed Sacrament School has established a Birthday Book Club. Students and adults are encouraged to join! We would like to encourage each child to buy a book for the library to celebrate their birthday. Ideally, the child might earn the money and choose a book on a topic special to them. It's easy to become a member. Just make a minimum cash donation of $15.00 to the library. Donations will be used to purchase books to increase our library collection. We are excited about this program because we feel this will instill in the students an appreciation for the library and respect for the books that they use there. As a member of the Birthday Book Club, your child will:
Have a personalized nameplate placed in the birthday book
Have their picture placed on the Birthday Book Club board
Be the first person to check out the book
Have the book read to your child's class as near your child's birthday as possible
Be invited to the Birthday Book Club member party in May
If you would like to join, please print out the following form and make the check payable too Blessed Sacrament School with a memo to Birthday Book Club. Slips may be returned to the school office. Thank you for your continuing support of the Blessed Sacrament School Library.
